Everything was simply great. Enjoyed the way our newly remodelled and immaculate room for the extra big bed was arranged. Welcoming and kind staff and the stay was quite comfortable during the Saturday of our visit. The food they offered was delicious, had plenty of meals.

The menu was better than most
In the bathroom ,the seal round the bath was lashed up like some one made a right hash off sealing it ,and the genral bath was grubby where dirt and grim in the mastic seals round the front panel of the bath had,nt been either cleaned properly or it will need re-doing to get it right.

Great location in a lovely area, and being close to the motorway was a definite plus. It was only a 4 km drive to the Church of St Peter. had a pleasant weekend stay with no complaints at all. 😊

The staff were excellent, couteous and helpful. They had a problem with their air conditionaing plant and within minutes someone was at our room to investigate and again when we asked to be moved this was done within minutes to a better room. Excluding the one off problem with heating, the rooms wee spacious, clean and well appointed. The staff were friendly and very quick to respond to any request. Good breakfast but worth enquiring whether cheaper to buy breakfst vouchers on arrival rather than booing with room. I would recommend this hotel
Airconditioning plant was making a huge racket and could still be heard in our replacement room though alot less. As the air con was not working and you cannot open the windows the room was quite hot. On checking out the agreed a reasonable discount for the inconvenience we suffered and I am sure this was a one off. Recovering service tell you a lot about a hotel and I could not really fault the Hoilday Inn tea in this regard.

Easy to find. great parking facilities. Room good with bed extremely comfortable. Surprisingly not noisy in spi[t of our window looking at a busy Bath Road.
do not have A cook breakfast!!!! 8 of us had either rock hard bacon, overcooked "poached" eggs/scrambled eggs, tastless mushrooms and rationed the baked beans!!! (no more than A spoon full!!) 3 of our boys are big rugby players who eat everything and could not even finish it!!!!

Everything was excellent, appreciated our very positive stay. This exceptionally comfortable and fancy hotel was in a secluded location near the monastery.- We were very close to the restaurant and the center of Reading.- The staff turned out to be nice.

The staff were very friendly, the rooms were clean and very cosy. Definitley worth the money! The food was also very very nice.
There was nothing we didnt like about it! Although some people may not like the distance it is away from the nearest town/city. But for us that was no problem. It still isnt far as it is only about 13miles from basingstoke and 8 miles from reading. It is also on a busyish road (cannot see it though) but you cant hear it at all, definitley wasnt a problem!
